Stay here, you won’t regret it!

The management company does a great job maintaining the condos and makes reservation, check in/out process very easy. One small inconvenience we experienced both stays was dish towels and extra garbage bags were not provided.

Great Ocean Views

TV is not smart so no streaming of Netflix etc. Shower needs the grout cleaned up as the dark areas look like mold. Likely I’ll stay again in 2024 so hope the Tv is updated and the shower grout addressed. Pots and pans a little tired and should be replaced. Bed is firm and worked well for us. View is amazing and can watch the sun go down from the lanai. Pool on site is awesome as is the location for Friday fireworks.

Lovely Lanai

Beautiful view, could use amenities

There was yummy restaurant downstairs w/ live music most nights, an ABC type store, hertz car rental, a library to borrow books from, a surf shop to book lessons, a coffee & ice cream shop & more all on site. I already emailed rental agency, but it would’ve been nice to have some room basics, like spices (there wasn’t even s&p), shampoo/body wash, etc. Also missing was the reason why we choose vrbo over hotels, for things like beach chairs & towels, pool floats, board games, etc. There were also no fans & the outdoor furniture & patio was stained with bird poop & what looked like blood on couch cushions. The box springs for bed were just lying on ground, so that was weird. Bed wasn’t a king, it was 2 twins, if that matters to anybody. There was w/d on every floor, so we washed our clothes easily. The machines take credit card so that was helpful. Also, checkout instructions request to run load of towels in w/d & dishes in dw but they provide no dw or laundry soap. So you’ll have to buy your own (we left some behind, as well as pool floatie, beach chair, sunblock & salt/pepper for next guests). There isn’t a pack n play or air mattress for kids, but there is a futon. Just fyi for those w/ kids. We’ll stay at ilikai again, but prob not this Vrbo. Also, bathroom needs some help. towel rods loose, holes in wall by tiles, vent caked in dust, hairs on ceiling/walls, no fan. The whole point of Vrbo is the home feel, this missed the mark a bit.

Cozy Clean Condo

Wonderful Place to Stay in Honolulu

The perfect location between Waikiki and Ala Moana, and close to the free to go to Northshore, the East or West side of the island. The unit has a stunning view of the Ala Wai small boat harbor and the ocean overlooking Ala Moana beach. The unit is great with a nice large bed, big bathroom and kitchen area. It was clean and fully stocked with kitchen items, towels and blankets. The managers leave instructions regarding amenities. I didn’t need to call them. Overalls, 5/5

Amazing View

The photos are exactly to what the place looks like. The only suggestion is having little items like coffee, basic items for cooking. I’m use to having those little amenities such as shampoo and soap. Otherwise overall this place was easy to check in, very nice and comfortable. The location was perfect and close to shopping, restaurants and Waikiki was just a short walk.

Durham US, 23. September 2021 Stayed for 3 days in September, 2021We really enjoyed our stay at the Ilikai! While it may be true that the hotel is slightly dated, it is overall very well maintained. The room itself was bright and clean, and we appreciated having all of the kitchen cookware we needed for our stay. We really liked the location as it was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki Beach, but still within walking distance and had ample parking around. 10/10 would recommend.

Great Location

It took us five minutes to get to the beach. Our room was very clean and spacious. There was plenty of places to eat that was close by. We didn’t have a car and found out we didn’t need one. Would I rent here again? Absolutely!!!

You'll have to hunt around the local streets for free overnight parking if you have a car, but we managed to do it every night. -

Santa Cruz US, 31. July 2019 Stayed for 8 days in July, 2019We had a wonderful time. The apartment had everything we needed. Access was exactly as we were informed prior to arrival. The outlook is gorgeous, we enjoyed watching the sunset on the balcony.
We took an air mattress for our youngest daughter and our eldest daughter slept on the fold down couch. So we were comfortable.
The only issue was the washing machines on level 10 do not really clean very well. I think they are probably due to be replaced as they barely agitated.
We love the Ilikai and this apartment there did not disappoint. -

The kitchen had absolutely everything one might need from wine openers to cheese graters. I was pleased to find two bar stools at the counter which weren’t featured in photos as well as patio furniture for dining on the lanai as well. The pin pad lock was appreciated as we were able to check ourselves in and never fumbled for keys. My friend would have appreciated having an in room safe for his passport and extra USD, but the property felt very secure so he soon stopped worrying. Thank you for a lovely experience. I hope I have the opportunity to book this property again.

Very easy access with key pad so not need for a key. Excellent location, close to many restaurants & bars, large shopping centre, parks and beach swimming areas. Had everything we needed for a 2 week stay.

Some first night amenities would be appreciated; I arrived late & didn't have time to go to the store. Would have loved some coffee in the room for that first morning. Also shampoo /shower soap for the first morning. Kitchen needs salt & pepper.

The apartment was wonderful! Upon opening the door we were greeted by a couple of swans gracing the lovely and comfortable king bed. The view from the lanai was breath taking. Myland Realty was wonderful to work with and would not hesitate to book with them in the future. -

Woodridge United States, 11. November 2018 Stayed for 4 days in October, 2018Stayed here in October 2018. Good location if you need to be near Convention Center. Easy walk to Ala Moana Center mall too. Building itself is old but maintained overall. Ease of access to beach mostly by walking into Hilton Hawaiian village next door. Ice cream shop on first floor of Ilikai was super!! Communication between managing realty company a little challenging if you are English speaking only, especially on the phone. Emails were sent but not accurate or reviewed well by Etsuko, wrong dates and instructions. Property was clean, furnishings and cabinetry outdated but acceptable. First time we used VRBO in Hawaii. The cost for the VRBO was the same as if we had stayed in one of the convention contracted hotel rates because of the added fees of this VRBO (cleaning fee, servie fee, etc). My friend's VRBO in the same Ilikai building gave them more towels, beach towels, cooler, boogie board, beach chairs for their use. This Apartment #1031 had very few things for their guests. Overall fine - we were just happy to be in Hawaii!!

Favorite Condo!
Portland United States, 06. September 2018 Stayed for 12 days in August, 2018This was our third time staying at Ilikai and this condo was my favorite. One reason was because it was stocked with EVERYTHING. The kitchen had everything we needed and I really liked the rice cooker. We also arrived the week of Hurricane Lane and I was very happy to see the condo even had a portable stove with spare butane cans. If the power had gone out, we would’ve been okay. I also really liked all of the cleaning supplies that were there. The condo was clean, but I’m the type of person who likes to wipe everything down again before we use it. I enjoyed using the wet Swiffer that was in the closet lol. I’m a clean freak, so I wiped everything down before and after our stay. Yes, I sweeped and Swiffer’d the floor before we left. I think the only negative thing I have to say is the water faucet in the kitchen needs to be turned off a certain way or else the water keeps dripping. Hopefully this will get fixed soon, so they can save on water. Oh, and one more thing. We received a few phone calls to the condo. The first call was a wrong number and another call was an appointment reminder. It wasn’t a big issue for us. We always stay at Ilikai because of the location and we always walk to Don Quijote for our groceries since it’s only a 0.8 mile walk. Ilikai is also located on the quieter side of the Waikiki strip. It was relaxing to have breakfast on the lanai. On some evenings, you can hear music from Cinnamon’s, which I enjoyed. I would stay at this condo again. I’ve looked for next year’s trip to O’ahu, but the condo isn’t available that month so now I have to look at other condos.

Great view and location, but...
Victoria Canada, 03. May 2018 Stayed for 14 days in April, 2018The unit's view and location were fantastic. The new sheets and towels were greatly appreciated. The bands playing below at Cinnamon were excessively loud and ruined use of the balcony on several evenings. The king size bed was extremely hard and painful to sleep on. The vertical blinds are so old that the valance frame is yellow and so many slats are broken that it does not provide privacy nor block the sun from coming in. The balcony and furniture on it were filthy and my husband's socks were black each day from walking on the unit's floor without shoes.
