Beautiful apartment in great location
David W. from Windermere US, 28. June 2022 Stayed for 7 days in June, 2022The property is in the Waikiki area in the middle of all the 'happening'. Very short walk to the beach. Plenty of options for shopping and eating. The unit has a great view of the water and is pleasant to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset.
As they mention there is no parking on-premise. We parked at the Marina parking garage, which can be reached through a pedestrian bridge without go outside. The parking rate is $23 per day with in/out privileges.
There are lots of 'conditions' in the house manual. Not sure whether they are real or not. We are here for a vacation. So please do not expect us to wash the linen before leaving the property (this is required as per the house manual).
Overall a great place to stay. Safe area as well.

Good Ilikai unit
Greensboro United States, 09. March 2022 Stayed for 30 days in February, 2022Good views to the southwest. If you like watching airplanes and maritime traffic, this is the best view direction. Only downside to the 16th floor is that you have long waits for the elevator. Nice condo with everything you need to be comfortable. The mattress could be updated, a little saggy. Aska Gateway Estates did a fine job.

There are great amenities inside the Ilikai hotel - there is a convenience store, an ice cream shop, a coffee shop and Cinnamon’s restaurant. Cinnamon’s has good food but the wait is sometimes long.
If your flight home is later in the day you can check your luggage in the lobby for $5 so you can go out and about on your last day. There are 2 pools which are great and towels are provided for use in the pool area.
Great views from the balcony! Don’t miss the sunsets! The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of towels and linens. There were beach chairs and an umbrella in the deck box. The WiFi is strong and the smart TV lets you log into your Hulu/Netflix accounts. The air conditioner is great once it runs long enough to cool the place down. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Fancy bidet as well. The window shades aren’t effective at blocking light so it’s not very dark at night and super bright in the morning. If you like sleeping in the dark I recommend bringing an eye mask.
The location is fantastic. Ala Moana shopping mall is walking distance. You’re also close to many restaurants, a car rental place, Ala Moana park. Easy walk to the lagoon and beach.
Our only complaint was the bed. The mattress isn’t comfy, sort of hard and lumpy. The platform bed frame is a shin killer! Hubby and I both came home with bruises from hitting the edges.
Overall, a great place to stay. Owner responded quickly to an emailed question. Would definitely stay here again!!

Very clean and nice property.

The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, and utensils and even a micom rice cooker. Love the huge counter bartop - plenty of room.
The king bed was comfy and the blinds were pretty good at blocking the heat and direct light, though if you are sensitive to light you will probably be up early every morning. -

Clean and tastefully set-up with gorgeous views on the bay, marina and surrounding building. Perfectly situated at the beginning of the Waikiki beach gives you feeling of being more a resident than a tourist. Convenience store on the ground floor with many boutiques and coffee/breakfast places. Live music on Wednesdays and Sundays. Easy access to the laundry. Valet parking $28 per day: super quick for as many ins and outs as you need with super friendly staff! We truly enjoyed our stay in Honolulu and explored beautiful Oahu.

The beach chairs and umbrella were handy. We just found the toilet to be very weird, otherwise everything was lovely.

It needed to be cleaned (evaporator coil covered in dirt and possible mold) and the control panel was partially inoperable (temp control wouldn't work). Again, beyond the air conditioner everything else was wonderful.

It has a fabulous location with a beautiful ocean view overlooking the harbor. We enjoyed morning coffees on the balcony as well as afternoon happy hours while getting ready for the evening events. One minute walk you are on the beautiful lagoon of the Hawaiian Hilton or right at the beach! A 6 minute walk the opposite direction and you are at the famous Alamoana Mall. The International Marketplace which is in the heart of the shopping area was a 10-12 minute walk which we enjoyed most every night. Late shopping and a wide variety of restaurants make this area the place to be in the evening. Lots of high end shopping but also many other shops: Quicksilver,Guess, Nordstom Rack, Ross and many more vendors to fulfill your shopping needs. We would Love to stay in this Beautiful condo again if we come back to Waikiki!
