Description

*In January 2024, replacement work will begin on drainage pipes that will affect all units in the Island Colony.

*Please be advised that there may be unplanned water outages without prior notice from the building management.

The Skyline Island Colony is the tallest hotel/condo in Waikiki. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain, canal, and golf course views from this 25th-floor corner unit. This one bedroom has a sofa in the living room that can be made into a full-sized bed by adding 2 ottomans (see photo). There is also a Japanese Futon inside the closet. The spacious kitchen will allow you to enjoy cooking as if you were at home with your family or friends.

    2501 is a nice, proper 1 bedroom condo. The condo is well equipped, for meal preparation and the 6th floor bbq,s are wonderful. Good ocean, Diamond Head, Monoa Valley, Ala Wai Canal views. Aska people very easy to deal with.

    This one bedroom unit is presented well in picture but in reality it is definetly wanting. Admittedly for 2 people it is fine but we we three. We begged for a bed in the living room or at least a proper pullout from the sofa. They refused, we ended up bringing an air mattress all the way from Canada. The company demanded our credit card info for booking, we don't do that (and neither should you) we provided certified check(s) so they reluctantly accepted and had us pay a $1,000.00 "possibly" refundable deposit! Because of this, we asked that they be present when we checked in so the condition of the unit could be verified. They refused. They said that they use "self checkin" in other words we could check into a disaster and our $1,000.00 damage deposit would be gone! We ended up having the security officer go with us to the unit and we video recorded everything. (We know Security from our previous stays in other units at this condo-tel and they did us the favor). The ASKA management told us they would come the next day to meet us and see if everything was ok....they never came. (When it came to check out, we expected ASKA to come they did not! We were scared that we might loose all or part of our $1,000.00 deposit for some frivolous reason) The furnishing are old and the bed was lumpy and needs replacement badly. The dining table is small with backless wooden stools for chairs. Very uncomfortable and unbearable sit on for long. Bathroom is grungy and needs update. We had constant bug issues, large cockroachs climbing walls and on the ceiling in particular in the bathroom. The joke was, our Canadian bank prepared 2 checks sent at alternate times. Due to exchange rate, the money ended up being 70 cents short ( on over $5,000.00 paid) the company demanded the 70 cents be paid.... we personally delivered the 79 cents to their office several blocks away! * The only good news was that we did get our deposit back.

    We loved the location and the condo. The furniture was all very comfortable and we loved having the table, chairs, and lounges on the lanai.

    私の間違えで予約を取ってしまって1日延泊をお願いしたのですが、快く対応してくれました。
    部屋の眺望もよく部屋もとても過ごしやすかったです。
    最初に髪の毛等の汚れなどはあったけど掃除機もあり掃除用具等も揃っていました。
    何度か水のトラブル等で来て頂いたのですがとても丁寧に対応して頂きました。
    自分の家にいるようにとても快適に過ごせてまた次回もこちらにお願いして宿泊したいと思います。本当に楽しい1ヶ月が過ごせました。

    Have rented condos in Waikiki since 1980s.This is a nice condo and secure building, also the pool area and gas grills are extremely nice. Staff is great at building and the folks at ASKA are really ready to look after you if you need anything. The view is great and the lanai is very large ,room for table and chairs and two lounges .
