KAWASAKI Japan, 25. September 2023 Stayed for 4 days in September, 2023初めてのバケーションレンタルで4泊しましたが、こちらであれば1週間以上滞在したいと思えるお部屋でした。
ワイキキ中心街からはすこし離れていますが、ホテルのすぐそばにトローリーやバスが停まるバス停がありますし、裏には安い駐車場もあるので便利です。
建物自体は古いのですが、お部屋は綺麗にリノベショーンされており、インテリアや設備、キッチンに備え付けの調理器具、カトラリー類なども充実していました。
ソファーベッドは我が家にも欲しいぐらいしっかりしたもので、熟睡できました。
ワイキキ中心のホテルと違い、とても&# -
Great Spot in Waikiki

Our family of four were very comfortable as my wife and I enjoyed the king bed and our teens used the sofa sleeper and smaller futon. The property manager always responded promptly when we had a question prior to the visit. From this unit there is a perfect view of Friday night fireworks at the Hilton Lagoon. Highly recommended!

Ilikai at Waikiki

It had toilet paper (3 rolls), paper towels (1 roll), dish soap, and dishwashing pods. The unit had 4 towels, 4 hand towels, and 4 washcloths. Extra sheets, blankets, hangers, a safe, baskets, and drawers for clothes were in the closet. No beach towels are included and very limited beach items. I believe there was a small beach umbrella, two chairs, and a boogie board. The AC unit was kind of loud but after a few days you got used to it. Take it off of "Saver Mode" and it works great and doesn't seem to be as loud. The curtains are very thin and are not blackout, so at night, it is very bright. The location was fabulous and a short walk to the beach, eateries, and of course, ABC Stores. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

GREAT CONDO, GREAT VIEW

The fireworks are back, so the view of that is spectacular from the lanai as is the daytime view. The lanai is a decent size. The unit has all the needed dishes and cooking utensils, the dish washer was also a nice feature. The only drawback for us is the Ilikai does not have BBQ's but the pool area and the rest of the hotel in general is great! Dealing with Mariko at Aska is also a pleasure.

Since I used to live close to this area of Honolulu, I had an insider perspective that the Ilikai was the place to stay to have access to the best of everything, while staying within budget. This condo definitely exceeded our expectations! We had a fabulous stay in the Ilikai Apartment #730 for 8 days! I'll name a few of my favorites about this place, but there really are too many to name. The balcony view is spectacular. Coffee in the mornings, sunsets in the evenings, cocktails and meals while enjoying the beautiful ocean view. Fireworks every friday can be seen from the balcony. The location is perfect. Walking distance to all the happenings of Waikiki, Ala Moana beach and Ala Moana Mall. Skip renting a car and paying for parking because Uber is so easy from here. Laundry is on the same floor. Super cute Ice cream shop and a mini-mart/gift shop in the lobby. Cinnamon's restaurant in the lobby. BEAUTIFUL outdoor lobby to gather in. Just steps away from a super chill lagoon that has water biking, stand up paddle boarding, snorkeling, shrimp truck/shave ice and picnic areas. TWO beautiful pools on site that are perfect for kids or for lounging that were surprisingly NOT crowded! We found the King size bed to be super comfortable. The fold out sofa mattress was of great quality. Plenty of bedding/towels. Fully stocked kitchen for all cooking needs. Welcome kit of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, bathroom soap, sponge and trash bags was very much appreciated. Very easy to schedule grocery delivery to the Ilikai. Plenty of space for our family of 4! And lastly, you cannot beat the price! I will be recommending this condo to all of my friends!

My only small issue was that there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang robes etc. The bathroom also needed a paint job. -

One Saturday night there was even fireworks! There was not enough towels for 2 of us, so we had to wash them, and beach towels, because they didn't dry by them selfs. And one day I noticed that AC stopped working, we tried to turn it on, the outlet lost power, good thing there was extention cord, that we were able to turn on AC id different outlet on the another side of the bed! I emailed you guys about this issue, and nobody emailed me back. We didn't mind to take out garbage every day. We sure glad that we had full size refrigerator and freezer and microwave! Pillows were not comfortable, but bed was big and nice, king size! We walked to Ala Moana Beach and Magic Beach for better Beach and awesome sunsets!Easy walking distance to the Mall, we really enjoyed eating at Olive Garden (in the mall)

Fireworks View From Lanai! Huge Studio Unit With Lagoon(NOT TRUE)
Newbury Park US, 27. July 2021 Stayed for 11 days in July, 2021I was sold on this unit based on the title and pictures (FIREWORKS VIEW FROM LANAI). This was complete FALSE advertisement and I feel like I paid aa premium for this room based on the title. We were there for 12 day and 2 Fridays and there were ZERO fireworks. Also, I feel like the unit owner did not provide much with respects to SOAP, TOILET PAPER, PAPER TOWELS and the basic essentials that have always been supplied at previous AB&B rentals. The unit was in good condition and the general experience was positive. I just wish the UNIT OWNER would have disclosed or did not advertise falsely about the FIREWORKS as I probably would have gone with a less expensive unit had I known that there was not going to be included in our visit. I did enjoy the Ilikai property and the building was surprisingly nice based on its outer appearance of being older. I just hope that people read this review so you are not as disappointed as we were as this was our first vacation in over two years and we were really looking forward to the FIREWORKS which is 100% the reason we went with this unit. I am guessing I could have saved $50 per night with a mountain view room.
Future renters: If the price is right for you then you will enjoy the unit. Just note there are NO FIREWORKS!!! It will sleep 4 (beds not very comfortable). One KING old mattress and 1 pull out couch with super thin mattress.
Bathroom and kitchen are average.
To be honest I would stay there again if the price was a little better as the management company was very kind and the Lanai is large and the size is right for my family.

Decent place to stay!
Joyce J. from Covington US, 23. June 2021 Stayed for 12 days in May, 2021We picked this place specifically because of how close it is from the beach and lagoon for our toddler and senior mom. We were also expecting fireworks but due to covid the fireworks has been suspended for more than a year now and should be taken out of the title or noted on the listing. The two pools were a great option. The ice cream shop downstairs was great. Cinnamons Restaurant was ok and can be a bit pricey. I like that our room is close enough to the elevators and the laundry room but not close enough to be loud. They even had a salsa band playing one Sunday which got a lot of people dancing.
The Ilikai is an older building but this specific unit has been remodeled. Lots of dishes, utensils and pots and pans for use. They provided a small bottle of hand/dish soap and a couple of paper goods for our 12 night stay (we needed to buy more). The toilet with bidet was great and good shower pressure. They only have valet parking for $28/night which we used for a couple nights then we were able to find parking by the marina with some patience. Being on the 7th floor can sometimes be annoying when using the elevators because it can be full of people already going down. We’ve used the bathers elevator sometimes and the stairs was a good option if you’re up for it.
We drove around a lot with our rental and would likely stay somewhere else than Waikiki next but this is a decent place to stay close to the beach, Ala Moana mall and it’s not in the middle of downtown Waikiki. -

However it was in need of some small touches for instance the mattress probably needs to be replaced it was very hard to sleep on. The lamp on the right hand side I guess had broken and been put up in the closet which for me was a bit of a problem as I am a reader and like to read at night. That was a small thing that could’ve been replaced. The bathroom wall was in desperate need of some touch up paint above the toilet although the toilet was very nice indeed having the heated seat and the bidet. Also would have been nice to have had a small starter kit of shampoo, Conditioner and a little bar of hand soap like the Ilikai units we have previously been in as people check in late. And no corkscrew! We had to purchase one.
We had a lovely stay overall. Thank you. -

No need for a car you could walk to everything. The condo was recently updated and nicely decorated with many welcoming touches. Easy check in and check out.
